Mercure Crafts International is committed to delivering luxury furniture that stands the test of time.
This document outlines our policy for all our products to ensure transparency and provide peace of mind
to our valued customers.
1. Structural Warranty
We take immense pride in the robust structural build of our furniture. Therefore, we offer a 2-year
warranty on the structural integrity of all our products. This warranty covers:
- Defects in materials or workmanship related to the structural framework.
- Any damage that occurs as a direct result of manufacturing defects.
Exclusions:
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches, dents, or changes due to natural aging of materials.
- Damages caused by improper use, misuse, or lack of proper care.
2. Upholstery Aging:
Our upholstery materials are of premium quality, ensuring durability and colour retention over time. We
guarantee:
- No fading of colours under normal usage conditions.
- The upholstery fabric will remain free of defects in material.
Actions that can cause damage:
- Stains, spills, or damages caused by external factors such as pets, sharp objects, or exposure to direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
- Issues arising from improper cleaning or the use of harsh chemicals
3. Manufacturing Defects
- Repair the defective product at no cost to you.
- Replace the product if it is deemed irreparable, free of charge, within the 2-year warranty period.
Exclusions:
- Issues caused by mishandling, neglect, or improper usage by the customer.
- Damages resulting from external factors.
- Wear and tear resulting from regular usage, such as minor indentations or slight material
compression over time.
4. Exclusions and Limitations
- Defects resulting from improper storage, handling, assembly, maintenance, or usage of the product.
- Damage occurring to the Goods post-purchase due to product modification, intentional harm, accidents, misuse, abuse, or negligence.
- Normal wear and tear attributable to the natural aging process, including fabric or leather wear, staining, or loosening, which are inherent characteristics over time.
- Instances such as fabric fading, leather deterioration, or cushion softening are considered normal conditions and not manufacturer defects, hence not covered under our warranty.
- Any damage resulting from improper assembly or installation if the product was not assembled or installed by Mercure Crafts’ team or authorized personnel.
- Exclusion of labour or assembly costs. Natural variations in colour or texture in Goods crafted from natural materials like fabric, leather, or wood. Please note that fabric and leather are not covered by any warranty. Moreover, buttons on tufted products upholstered with fabric or leather are not warranted, given our limited control over their usage.
- PVD or Dip Coat: We do not provide a warranty or guarantee for PVD or Dip Coats. These coatings age gracefully if maintained according to the care tips provided at the time of purchase.
- Use of any Goods for commercial purposes, such as in commercial establishments, which extends beyond personal residential settings
5. Repair Services Beyond Warranty
If the product is no longer under warranty, the client will be responsible for covering all associated
costs, including shipping, packing materials, and refurbishment expenses
6. Warranty Claim Process
To initiate a warranty claim, please:
- Contact us at +91 8431001900 with proof of purchase and a description of the issue.
- Provide photographs of the damaged product to help us assess the problem.
- Allow reasonable time for inspection and resolution.
7. General Terms
- This warranty applies exclusively to products purchased directly from Mercure Crafts
International. - The warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.
- Products used for commercial purposes are not covered under this warranty unless explicitly
stated at the time of purchase.
